Project Avenue -Part 2: First Steps and Advice for new teams
Last Monday, three returning FLL teams: the Folsom Dynobytes, Folsom Brainstormers and the Folsom Robobytes – got together for a strategy ‘kick off’ session and pool party (what a fun way to start the season!).
The teams shared their project ‘first steps’ with us, and also gave some great advice for rookie teams!

I love the project portion of the FLL Challenge – and last year created a documentary where we followed 6 local FLL teams on their project journey through the Body Forward season.
This year, instead of a long documentary, we’ll be creating short 2-3 minute videos and posting them directly onto this blog. I’ll be interviewing local teams (rookie and returning) at various stages in their project journey and asking them to explain how they accomplish the different steps.
My hope is that these videos will offer both learning opportunities and inspiration for the entire FIRST LEGO League community!
