Climate Connection Project finally ‘up and running’ in the Sierra Nevada Mountains

Great news for those of you following the 2008 Lego Guard team’s Climate Connection Project: Forest Guard. (Innovation Award – Children’s Climate Call, Copenhagen)
Dr. Graham Kent, University of Nevada, sent me this update and photos:

“Well it’s been some time … we had a really dry drought year and luckily no fires in the Tahoe basin. It’s taken some time to get some permits issued (and ongoing) but we have Forest Eyes set up on two peaks:  Snow Valley and McClelland…. Fire chiefs already have access to the cameras, so slowly but surely.”
