We’ve seen the statistics – women make up nearly half of the U.S. workforce, but are still underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. FIRST® strives to change this by engaging girls in grades K-12 through our progression of programs. Thanks to the help of Coaches, Mentors, Sponsors, and Volunteers, we’re seeing more young women pursuing degrees and careers in these fields.
