Teams have come up with many innovative solutions to the problems they’ve identified in the ANIMAL ALLIESSM Challenge. Through the Challenge, FIRST® LEGO® League kids have found ways to improve various animals’ lives, including those of pets!

Team 10264, the Apawstles, from Los Angeles, CA, USA, had an idea to create a dog park for senior and disabled dogs using scent-based activities, based on their Project research. After working hard to develop their idea, they presented their vision to their local neighborhood and city councils.

The team presenting their idea to the councils.

Guess what? Their presentation went over so well that the councils decided to design part of a new dog park specifically based on the team’s research and idea.

The dog park is only a few blocks from the team’s school, which allows the team to see the progress being made on it.

We’re proud of this team for using their FIRST LEGO League Project to make a difference in their community!
