We can’t think of a better way to celebrate teams’ accomplishments and the conclusion of the ANIMAL ALLIESSM season than with fun, action-packed events around the globe!

Today, we’re recapping the final three Open Invitational Events that took place this summer –the International Open Championship, Mountain State Invitational, and Asia Pacific Open. You can find the recap of the first three Open Invitational events here.

International Open Championship – Bath, UK

The International Open Championship took place at the University of Bath in Bath, UK on June 21-25. The event captured the global spirit of FIRST® LEGO® League, with 93 teams from 37 countries in attendance!

Asia Pacific Open – Sydney, Australia

The Asia Pacific Open took place at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia on July 6-9. Teams were able to get up close and personal with some of their ANIMAL ALLIES during the opening festivities, which were held at the Taronga Zoo.

Teams from 15 countries attended this event Down Under.

Congratulations to Team Androids from Brazil for winning the event’s Champion’s Award!

Mountain State Invitational – Fairmont, West Virginia, USA

The Mountain State Invitational took place at Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia, USA on July 7-9. 40 teams from the United States, Brazil, Canada, and Uruguay were in attendance.
