Let the celebration of NASA’s 60th birthday continue!
NASA, a FIRST® strategic partner, has been vital to the space-themed FIRST LAUNCH 2019. To show our appreciation, we are showcasing some of the ways teams celebrate the work NASA does. Join us to give a shout-out for the way NASA supports and furthers the exploration of space. Not just for the past 60 years, but we hope for years to come.
Here are just a few of the many shout-outs we saw earlier this month from FIRST® LEGO® League teams:
Team #37449, Astromech T.E.C.H. (Team Energy Corridor Houston), from Houston, TX, USA, had fun creating a video for NASA’s 60th birthday.
When this rookie team started their first season, Coopertition® was at top of mind. They asked teams from all over the world to share a picture or a short clip wishing NASA a happy birthday. Twenty-nine other FIRST teams from across the globe, including those in FIRST® LEGO® League Jr., FIRST LEGO League, FIRST® Tech Challenge and FIRST® Robotics Competition participated, using their own fun styles and local languages.
It was a lot of work to make the video but Astromech T.E.C.H. really enjoyed doing it. The team hopes NASA liked their efforts and you will too!
Teams #492 and #493, LMS Robotics, from Mount Prospect, IL, USA tweeted:

Teams, share your birthday messages to NASA with us so we can add them to the list!
